Last Monday through Friday Darlene, my bride of 30 years, and I had the distinct pleasure of camping with you. I want to take this opportunity to sincerely compliment you on an excellent facility. We started married life camping in a little more rustic circumstances. It was in the form of a canoe trip honeymoon in Ely, MN. So we have been exposed to all kinds of camping - even motel camping. I'm in business as of 24 years and a staunch supporter of free enterprise. I really admire the way the camp was run. You seemed to have all the bases covered. It was kept clean. I even enjoyed the contact with a few of your nice people. It was well supervised and I can't believe some of the rules we lived by and seemed to work - such as taking all the garbage to the front gate. 600 sites and no pick-up??? And it all seemed to go so smoothly. Again it strikes a blow for free enterprise and it CAN BE DONE!!!.... Keep up the good work and we shall return plus participate in the best kind of advertisement for you -- telling others about a fantastic campground in Mackinaw City. With warm regards,
