Dog kennels are available for the safe keeping of your dog during your stay at Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping.
Dogs left unattended in campers get frightened, bark and disturb or even injure other campers. Your pup doesn't want to be left alone all day at your campsite (besides that, our park rules prohibit leaving dogs unattended). He is on vacation, too. Let him spend a safe day in the care of one of our area kennels.

I will be staying from September 24-30.Will I need to make reservations for the kennel before I come, or can I make reservations as needed while I am there? I frequently do day trips while camping, and would hate to board my dog for the whole week. I would need just a few hours in a day like when I go to Sunday mass. Thank you.
It is probably best to make a call to a kennel in our area before you arrive to make sure they can accommodate you or refer you to someone who can. We don’t operate a kennel, although sometimes staff members will do dog sitting if it works with their schedule. Thank you for being responsible and thinking of your dog. Being alone in a strange place is stressful for them and a kennel is a great option! That time of year is generally slower so you should not have a problem finding a kennel to accommodate you.
