Highlights of the island include Arch Rock, the Grand Hotel, Fort Mackinac and the historical downtown. | The island can be seen from the shore of the campground and is just a short 15 minute ferry ride across Lake Huron. Suggest a visit time of 6-8 hours. Open daily mid-May to mid-October. |
