Tractor Parking, St. Ignace: Little Bear Arena (only)

Mackinaw City Public Tractor Viewing at the staging area west of town on Thursday, September 4th, 2014 between 3:00-6:00pm only.

Public Viewing in St. Ignace (Little Bear Arena) Starts on Friday at approx., 10:00AM. & Sat. 8:00AM-5:00pm.

Imagine unloading nearly 800 tractors in one field in one day. Nearly all of the tractors pull into the staging area in Mackinaw City on Thursday the day before the event to line up with their respective clubs. Friday morning around 9:00am we have the Mackinaw City parade and the Mackinac Bridge parades leave the staging area at the same time. It takes about 50 minutes to clear over 800 tractors from the lot. The Mackinac Bridge Parade travel directly to the bridge and enter the bridge with the Mackinac Bridge Authority directing them. The Mackinaw City parade travels through town and get on the bridge right behind the bridge parade. The tractors for the 2014 event will travel over the Mackinac Bridge and into the city of St. Ignace, Michigan. The whole travel time from beginning to end is about 3 1/2 hours.

In 2013 there were 907 Tractors that crossed the Mighty Mackinac Bridge. What a great time we all had. A new location in downtown St. Ignace and new loading ramps helped make the event a success.
